The Tiger King Booktag

Hi All! I’m sorry I’ve been away for a few days, I needed a mental health break away from everything. I’m fine! Just needed to give myself a couple of days to breath though. After struggling to think of a post to write and realising I haven’t done a tag in a while I did a bit of a search for a book tag I … Continue reading The Tiger King Booktag

Prediction Book Tag

Hi All! Today I decided I wanted to take part in another book tag as I have a few reviews that just aren’t ready to be published yet, and I enjoy reading through book tags myself to get recommendations and learn about someone’s reading taste. Continue reading Prediction Book Tag

The Stay At Home Book Tag

So I saw Princess of Paperback created a tag on her booktube channel called ‘Stay At Home’ tag, and I decided that was a great tag to do during times like this, especially in the UK where it seems out lockdown has been extended. Continue reading The Stay At Home Book Tag

Avatar: The Last Airbender Book Tag

I saw this tag on A Clockwork Reader’s booktube channel, and I just had to do. Avatar: The Last Airbender will always hold a special place in my heart, so I’m going to do a tag that combines two of my favourite things: books and possibly the best children’s show ever created. Continue reading Avatar: The Last Airbender Book Tag

It finally starting to feel like 🌸spring🌸 and I couldn’t be happier about it, winter was not a good season to me this time around so I’m looking forward to new beginnings! what book made you cry most recently? because this is mine I am making my way through this at a snails pace, not because I don’t love it but because it’s hard to find time to read it right now. Forts I had winter assessments for uni, then I had covid, then I had uni work catch up because of covid, and now I have uni assessments all over again! Honestly, I’m scared I’ll never find the time to finish this! This arrived today in the pouring rain and I think it may be the best time o start it, what else am I going to do this afternoon? Currently reading this and feeling a bit mixed! I really didn’t like the protagonist in the first few chapters but she might be growing on me now! Anyone else reading this at the moment? What do you think? Hey all! Hope you’re well and happy, and you’ve got some fantastic five star reads next to you ☺️ last night, I tested positive for covid, I’m a bit annoyed about it as I’ve had all three vaccines and I reacted badly to each one, but I guess they’re working as I only have a minor cold at the moment 🤞🏻 it also means I no longer have an excuse not to catch up on my reading! And I may finally have the time to start The Twyford Code which I have been DYING to get to👀 Just posted a review for this on my blog! Unfortunately I didn’t fall in love with this the way I wanted to😔 I loved the prose and the concept, but the exclusive focus on Western culture, iffy characters and the directions chosen for them, plus a romance I didn’t vibe with unfortunately ruined this for me😕 I ended up pulling my rating down to 2/5 and I’m hoping this is just a fluke with Schwab as I love a lot of her other books! Morning all! ☀️ I hope you’re all having a good week! My week hasn’t been too bad actually, other than the fact I’ve g out some assessments to work on at the moment! But it’s okay as they’re both really interesting, one is on the Irish Famine, and the other on the plague in early modern Europe, both morbid but I’m funnily enough enjoying them😂 In my earlier years I wasn’t much of a Swiftie to be honest, and I often blame that on internalised misogyny, as shamefully I loved the music but wasn’t sure on the artist 😔 In recent years I can’t get enough of her music and folklore is probably my favourite album, although Red TV’s holds a special place in my heart 🧣
